Dear Disaster Relief Chaplains
In order to serve as a chaplain with Northwest Baptist Disaster Relief, you will need to be current with your qualifications and our staff needs to have those recorded.
Training:
ISBDR – This “Intro” course is mandatory. Needs to be taken every 3 years to stay current
Read the DR Chaplaincy Manual
Disaster Relief Chaplaincy – this course is mandatory. You may take this course again or an Advanced or ReCert course to keep current
SBC Church Membership Verification required to serve with Disaster Relief
Forms:
Letter of Recommendation from your pastor as a Disaster Relief chaplain
Background Check done by a Northwest Baptist Convention approved organization
Medical and background
Release and Indemnity Agreement

Other DR skills courses such as Mass Feeding, Disaster Assessment, Skid Steer, etc
FEMA Courses: ICS100, ICS200, ICS 700, and ICS 800
